I have deep respect for peoples' uniqueness. As a result, when helping them to plan the most important day of their lives, I seek to create a ceremony for the couple that truly honors and expresses who they are. I spend as much time with them as needed to accomplish this.
For couples who are interested in traditional ceremonies, I include sacred texts, prayers and rituals of the religion.
For interfaith couples I acknowledge and honor both faiths, cultures and traditions. I can officiate either alone for any faith, or if the couple requests, I can officiate with a additional clergy. Whether with a priest, reverend, or pastor, my goal is for all officiants to participate equally in performing the ceremony.
For those who wish to depart from tradition, I work with them in creating a unique and personal ceremony, focused towards their special wishes -- whether the ceremony be interfaith or specific to one religion.
Regardless which type of ceremony is chosen, an atmosphere of spirituality will always prevail. My approach to creating each ceremony is one of open-mindedness.
I have officiated weddings in many locations: the New York Landmark Church, the Plaza Hotel, the Waldorf Astoria, Central Park, the Hudson shoreline, cruise ships, in photography studios, museums including the Academy of Sciences, the St. Paul's Chapel-Columbia University, Cornell University in Ithaca, The Castle in Tarrytown, NY, The Oheka Castle in Long Island, NY, the Chateau d'Esclimont in France, Süllberg Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, Cuernevaca in Mexico, and the Four Seasons Hotel in Punta Mita, Mexico.
